learn the Vim® 4M1S Framework™
The Philosophy of Ownership
Our philosophy is built on a single, sobering truth: If you have to be there for your money to work, you don’t own an asset. You own a job.
Most veteran owners and executives in Singapore treat the stock market like a casino. They chase green candles and flee from red ones. We don’t do that.
We use the 4M1S Framework™ to stop gambling and start owning.
1. Mindset: Owner, Not Gambler
The market is a sea of emotions. We teach the "Owner Mindset." When you buy a stock, you aren't buying a ticker symbol; you are buying a piece of a real business with real employees and real customers. If you can't sleep well while owning it, you shouldn't own it.
2. Management & Business: Quality First
A great business run by dishonest people is a bad investment. A bad business run by geniuses can be a struggle. We look for both: high-quality companies run by honest, capable leaders. We teach you to look past the sales pitch to see the compensation structures and the qualitative truth of the company.
3. Mathematical Sense: The Price We Pay Matters
As Ben Graham said, "In the short run, the market is a voting machine. In the long run, it is a weighing machine." Hype can drive a stock up 400%, but if the fundamentals aren't there, gravity always wins. We don't guess value. We calculate it. We use three specific valuation methods to ensure we never pay a ridiculous price for a great business.
4. Money & Portfolio Management: The Art of Sizing
You don't get rich just by being right; you get rich by being right and having a significant position. If your "winner" is only 2% of your portfolio, it won't change your life. If your "loser" is 40%, it will break you. We focus on allocation—knowing exactly how much cash to hold and how much to deploy so your wins far outpace your losses.
5. Strategy: Matching the Tool to the Task
Every investment opportunity is unique. There are nine distinct types of opportunities in the market. Some require you to hold the stock for a decade; others require a surgical exit. Sometimes, the right tool is a Warren Buffett's options strategy like selling puts; other times, it’s a simple "buy and hold." We teach you which weapon to draw for which fight.
The VIM® Private Circle
We don’t believe in "noise." We believe in judgment. We gather six peers a quarter to grow over a one year mentorship. This isn't about getting a "hot tip" for Monday morning. It’s about building a framework that allows you to invest peacefully for life and put your wealth to work permanently.
One year can change the trajectory of your wealth.
"The more you learn, the more you’ll earn. Nobody can take away what you’ve got in yourself." — Warren Buffett
